Ignite Your Child’s Passion For Cooking With Our ‘Junior Chefs!’ Summer Camps

Kids cooking classes

One of our core beliefs at Salt Lake Culinary Education is that teaching the art of cooking is a valuable gift that can serve someone throughout their life.

And this is especially true for children!

Not only does experience in the kitchen provide important life skills, but it encourages creativity, teaches healthy eating habits, and provides them with a sense of accomplishment.

So if you’re already making plans for your kids when they’re out of school this summer, (and find yourself searching “best summer camps in Salt Lake City” on Google), why not consider cooking classes for your kids this year?

We’re excited to offer two new Junior Chef Summer Camps at our Salt Lake City location that will educate and inspire the budding chefs in your family.

Here’s a look at each of the camps, and how you can register:

What sets Salt Lake Culinary Education apart?

We want kids to explore the culinary arts in a fun, supportive and engaging environment, so our summer cooking camps are designed to give them an unforgettable experience.

Our state of the art kitchens feature professional grade appliances and tools. This gives each Junior Chef their own dedicated work space, fostering a sense of independence and responsibility. Our smaller class size ensures every child receives guidance and attention from our experienced chef instructors.

We provide everything your Junior Chef needs, including pre-measured ingredients, all the necessary cooking tools, and aprons.

Our chef instructors are not only skilled culinary professionals, but they’re also passionate about teaching the next generation! We want every Junior Chef to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and expressing their creativity. We can accommodate different learning styles and skill levels to make sure everyone feels supported as well as challenged.

What are the benefits of Junior Chef Cooking Classes?

We truly believe that enrolling your child in a Junior Chef cooking class has benefits that go far beyond the kitchen.

Our classes help establish healthy eating habits, encourage independence, and develop critical thinking skills. The summer camps also encourage collaboration, creativity, and boost confidence as your child will learn to prepare amazing meals for themselves and others.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Junior Chef classes is the opportunity for kids to share their newly acquired knowledge with family and friends. One review we received on our Google listing sums it up perfectly!

“My daughter attended a baking camp. She came home with so many amazing desserts and learned so much. Definitely a must for your kid in the summer.”
– Jasmine L.

Each of our summer camps has space for only 12 students, and as previous years have shown, the spots fill up fast. So if you’re looking for some fun activities for your kids around Salt Lake this summer, register for our Junior Chef Summer Camps before they sell out!
