7 Fun Fall Activities in Salt Lake City

fun fall activities in salt lake city

Although it may feel like Fall in Utah is fleeting, it’s one of our favorite times of year. While we don’t get the extended season of vibrant leaves like the Northeast, we make up for it with plenty of fun things to do during a few crisp, colorful weeks. Here are seven activities to make the most of this time of year!

How many of these fall activities around Salt Lake City have you checked off your list?

1. See the fall leaves at Red Butte Garden

This is an incredible place to see the fall colors. Yes, you can definitely drive up one of the canyons to see the leaves changing, but Red Butte Garden is right in our backyard! Plus you can see late season flowers, berries and fruits as you stroll around the botanical gardens at the University of Utah campus.

Don’t miss their “Bootanical Fall Festival” this year which runs Oct. 17-30.
