SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern your participation in the text messaging program (“Program”) operated by Salt Lake Culinary Education (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms.

Effective date: June 1, 2026

Program Description

When you opt in to the Program, we may send you recurring automated text messages related to your inquiry, registration, or relationship with us. This may include class updates, reminders, scheduling and account notifications, customer support, and occasional promotional offers.

Opt-In and Consent

By checking the SMS consent box on our form and providing your mobile number, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Salt Lake Culinary Education at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We are not responsible for any such charges.

How to Opt Out

You can cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive messages from us unless you opt in again.

Carrier Liability

Carriers (including but not limited to wireless carriers) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

Supported Carriers

The Program may not be available on all wireless carriers, and carriers are not required to support the service.

Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page.

Privacy

Mobile information and SMS consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. For details on how we collect and use your information, please see our Privacy Policy.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
