Portuguese Wine and Cheese Pairing – June 3rd

Experience flavors from around the world in this Portuguese Wine and Cheese Pairing class! Sip back and relax for a wine-derful evening!

Expand your wine knowledge and pairing skillset to impress your next dinner party, leaving them on cloud wine. Try four Portuguese wines, combined with a variety of cheeses that make for surprising and delicious pairings! Taste each unique pairing with the expert guidance of a cheese monger; then make and compare tasting notes with others. In addition to a variety of cheeses, you’ll enjoy several traditional, Portuguese small plates. Mix, mingle and match for yourself to see what pairing you enjoy best!

Portuguese Wine & Cheese Pairing Menu:

  • Marinated Olives
  • Chicken Espetada (Skewer)
  • Bolinhos de Bacalhau (Salt Cod Fritter)
  • Pica Pau with Milho Frito (Traditional Portuguese Bar Snack)
  • Pastel de Nata (Custard Tart)

*Must be 21+ to attend. 

*Class is $85 per ticket
*Gratuity is not included. The option to add a gratuity for your chef instructors and our team is available at your discretion. 

*Please note:  All purchases are non-refundable.  Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours notice in order to reschedule your reservation.  If you cancel less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits, or class transfers for classes missed.  If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
