Culinary School Near Murray, UT

Culinary School Salt Lake City, UT

It is difficult to trace the history of cooking. Do we count the first children learning at their parents’ knees, or do we look to culinary schools like Le Cordon Bleu or the Boston Cooking School? Either way, learning how to cook is a tradition that we as humans have treasured for a long time. It elevates an essential task and makes life a little sweeter.

A Little Something for Everyone culinary school

With such a rich history, it might be easy to assume that learning to cook is something intrinsic to human nature. While this is true of many, it is not true for all, and those who do feel the inspiration to achieve the perfect basil-coriander recipe do not usually feel it to the same degree. That’s why our culinary school at Salt Lake Culinary Education caters to everyone, those with a deep desire to become chefs to those who just like to eat good food.

For the former, we offer a 12-week nationally-recognized professional cooking course with emphases in either becoming a culinary chef or in perfected baking techniques. The course introduces students to life in a professional kitchen, both through hands-on classroom instruction and networking throughout the community. Along the way, they learn kitchen basics, like which knife to use, to delicious gourmet recipes.

Those who want to improve their ability to cook but aren’t ready to commit to pursuing certification find exactly what they’re looking for in the cooking classes offered at our culinary school. Variety is the word when it comes to these forays into French cuisine or crafting incredible curry or perfecting pumpkin pie. Bring a date or a group of friends and choose the night and the event that best fits what sounds fun to you.

If you are the kind of person who prefers to stay out of the kitchen but still enjoys a delicious meal, catering is also an option. Let us take away the stress of food preparation for your next event with something a little more impressive than pizza. We will work with you to determine the best menu for your event.
