How to Cut a Bell Pepper
Ingredients:
1 or more bell peppers
Instructions:
1. Using a sharp knife, remove the top and bottom of the bell pepper.
2. Place the pepper on either the top or bottom cut-side so that it rest upright on a flat surface. Carefully remove each side of the bell pepper so that the pith and seeds are left together in the center. Discard pith and seeds.
3. Take one side of bell pepper and place it flat and skin side down on cutting board. To julienne bell pepper, make 1/8 inch slices all the way across so that bell pepper is in thin strips. Use as is or continue to step 4 to dice.
4. To dice bell pepper, take julienne strips and turn them so that the next cuts are perpendicular to the cuts just made. Make 1/8 inch cuts all the way across strips to small dice pepper.
