Brown Butter
Ingredients:
1 pound butter
Instructions:
1. Heat a large saucepan or pot over medium-high heat. Add butter and stir to help melt butter evenly. Keep heat at medium-high.
2. Let butter simmer until the milk solids floating begin to caramelize and turn brown.
3. Once butter has lots of browned bits, turn off the heat and transfer brown butter into a bowl so that it doesn’t continue to brown too much or burn.
4. Let butter cool, transfer to a storage container, and refrigerate until ready to use.
