How to Make Clarified Butter

Ingredients:

12 tablespoons – 1 pound of butter

Instructions:

  1. Place butter in a medium sauce pot and melt over low heat. Let butter melt without stirring.
  2. Once butter melts, it will begin to separate. Skim foam and milk solids off the top of the butter until all of it is removed.
  3. If there are a few bits that were difficult to skim left at the end, strain the remaining butter through a fine mesh strainer.
  4. Let cool and transfer to a container. Set aside and use for any searing, grilling, or high-heat cooking needs!

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
