Browned Butter Sage Sauce
Makes 1 1/2 pounds butter
1 1/2 pounds butter
10-12 sage leaves
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 lemon, zested
- In a large, stainless steel skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Once butter is fully melted and beginning to bubble, add sage and gently stir.
- Once sage is in, do not stir again. The butter will begin to brown on the bottom of the pan. Watch carefully so it does not burn. Once butter is brown, remove from heat.
- Season with salt and pepper and add lemon juice. Stir to combine and enjoy!
