Junior Chef Sweet & Savory June 20th

Join us for a hands-on Sweet & Savory Scone baking adventure! In this class, aspiring bakers will learn how to create delicious homemade scones from scratch — both sweet and savory varieties. Guided by our expert chefs, participants will explore essential baking techniques including mixing, shaping, and flavor balancing while working with fresh ingredients and creative add-ins. From fruity, sweet scones to rich, savory combinations, this class is a fun and interactive way to build baking confidence, learn new kitchen skills, and head home with recipes perfect for breakfast, brunch, or anytime snacking!

*Class is for Junior Chefs ages 9 and up!
*Please be on time, wearing closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.

*Junior Chef Class is $100 per ticket. Gratuity is not included. The option to add a gratuity for your chef instructors and our team is available at your discretion.

*Please note:  All purchases are nonrefundable.  Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation.  If you cancel with less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits or class transfers for classes missed.  If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
