Grilled Peaches
Ingredients:
4 ripe, but still firm peaches
Neutral oil, for brushing (like grapeseed or canola)
Instructions:
1. Preheat grill on medium to medium high heat.
2. Wash, dry, halve, and pit peaches.
3. Brush cut side of peaches with neutral oil. Make sure not to use an oil with a strong flavor.
4. Place brushed peaches cut side down on hot grill. Let grill for 2-3 minutes without disturbing.
5. Check peaches for grill marks. If peaches have marks, are warm through, and beginning to soften, remove from grill. If peaches are sticking, let grill another 1-2 minutes until the release from the grill more easily.
6. Eat grilled peaches plain, as a side to grilled meat, in a salad, with a drizzle of balsamic, or with ice cream and cake! Enjoy!
