Summer by the Sea: A Lobster Experience June 27th

Experience the essence of summer by the sea through an elevated, hands-on culinary class inspired by fresh lobster and coastal flavors.

You’ll learn how to build bright, balanced flavors while mastering essential techniques—from preparing a light, silky chowder to perfectly dressing and assembling classic lobster rolls. Along the way, we’ll focus on layering texture, acidity, and freshness to bring each dish to life.

Together, we’ll create:

• Summer Corn & Clam Chowder with Thyme & Lemon
• Classic Lobster Rolls on Buttered Split-Top Buns
• Cucumber & Radish Salad with Dill & Lemon
• Blueberry Lemon Tartlets

This class is designed to be as fun as it is informative—expect a lively, hands-on environment, thoughtful guidance, and plenty of tips you can take back to your own kitchen.

We’ll end the evening the best way possible: sitting down together to enjoy everything you’ve created.

*Must be 21+ to attend.

*Please be on time, wearing closed-toe shoes.

*Class is $110 per ticket.

*Gratuity is not included. The option to add a gratuity for your chef instructors and our team is available at your discretion. 

*Please note:  All purchases are nonrefundable.  Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation.  If you cancel with less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits or class transfers for classes missed.  If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
