Junior Chefs: Global Kitchen + Baking Lab Camp July 27th – July 31th
Get ready for the ultimate hands-on culinary adventure! In this exciting 5-day camp, young chefs will explore the flavors of the world while mastering both savory cooking and baking skills in one unforgettable experience.
Each day is thoughtfully designed to keep kids engaged, learning, and having fun in the kitchen. Campers will travel through global cuisines crafting fresh Italian pasta, building bold Indian flavors, and preparing vibrant Greek dishes, while also diving into baking days featuring crowd-favorite treats like crispy churros and delicious hand pies.
This unique “2-in-1” camp blends cooking and baking to give students a well-rounded culinary foundation. Along the way, they’ll learn essential kitchen skills such as knife safety, dough making, seasoning, frying, and baking techniques—all in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Whether your child is brand new to the kitchen or already loves to cook, this camp is designed to build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of food. Class is 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday, July 27th – Friday, July 31st.
Menu:
- Greek Cuisine – Avgolemono Soup, Spanakopita, Pastitsio
- Churros, Eclairs, Pastry Cream, Ganache
- Indian Cuisine – Homemade Naan, Butter Chicken, Rice Pilaf, Gulab Jamun
- Flaky Pie Dough, Homemade Jam, Hand Pies, No Knead Bread
- Italian Cuisine – Gnocchi, Arancini, Rosa di Parma
By the end of the week, campers will leave with new skills, new friends, and a menu of dishes they’ll be proud to recreate at home.
*Please be on time, wearing closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
*Junior Chef Baking and Pastry Camp is $500. Gratuity is not included. The option to add a gratuity for your chef instructors and our team is available at your discretion.
*Please note: All purchases are nonrefundable. Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation. If you cancel with less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits or class transfers for classes missed. If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
