Junior Chefs! Culinary Camp August 4th – 8th

Calling all Junior Chefs ages 9 and up. Summertime will be here before you know it! If you have a young, aspiring chef in your life who loves to cook or wants to learn how to help out in the kitchen, look no further for the perfect summer activity. In this 5-day cooking camp, your Junior Chef will explore International cuisines, learn how to make delicious meals from scratch, and leave with the fundamental skills they’ll need to continue cooking at home! Class is 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday, August 4th –  August 8th.

Menu:

  • Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine, Eggs Royale, Homemade Hollandaise
  • Miso Soup, Cucumber Salad, Sushi Rice, Tempura Shrimp, Sushi Rolls
  • Italian Soup, Pizza Dough, Individual Pizzas, Fresh Pasta, Marinara Sauce
  • Shrimp Gumbo, Andouille Red Rice, Cajun Chicken Alfredo, Cornbread, Bananas Foster
  • Caesar Salad, Steak with Mushroom Sauce, Baked Lobster, Potatoes au Gratin, Garlic Zucchini

*Class is for Junior Chefs ages 9 and up!
*Please be on time, wearing closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.

*Junior Chef Culinary Camp is $500. Gratuity is not included. The option to add a gratuity for your chef instructors and our team is available at your discretion.

*Please note:  All purchases are nonrefundable.  Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation.  If you cancel with less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits or class transfers for classes missed.  If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
