Taste of India Cooking Class August 9th

Tantalize your taste buds as our expert chef guides you through the vibrant world of Indian cuisine. Learn the art of crafting Paratha, a traditional Indian flatbread perfect for sopping up curries. Delight in the preparation of Chicken Tikka Masala, a popular and beloved dish known for it’s spice blend. And to satisfy your sweet cravings, we’ll wrap up the meal with Jalebi, a classic Indian dessert featuring crispy spirals soaked in a sweet syrup. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or just starting your culinary journey, our Indian cooking class promises to inspire, educate, and leave you with newfound skills to recreate these bold and diverse flavors in your own kitchen.

  • Chef Prepared Welcome Appetizer
  • Paratha (Indian Flatbread)
  • Chicken Tikka Masala
  • Basmati Rice
  • Jalebi

*Please be on time, wearing closed-toe shoes.

*Class is $100 per ticket. Gratuity is not included. The option to add a gratuity for your chef instructors and our team is available at your discretion. 

*Please note:  All purchases are nonrefundable.  Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation.  If you cancel with less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits or class transfers for classes missed.  If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
