Junior Chefs! Bakeshop Camp August 7th – 11th

Calling all Junior Chefs ages 9 and up!

Life is what you bake it! Your Junior Chef will make plenty of treats to take home to share with the whole family that you will loaf! Not only will your Junior Chef have heaps of fun, but they’ll leave with the fundamental skills needed to continue baking at home. You’ll believe in love at first bite once your Junior Chefs learn these scrumptious treats!

Class is held Monday through Friday from 11 AM – 2 PM. 

Junior Chefs! Bakeshop Menu:

  • Bananas Foster, Gulab Jaman, Hamantaschen
  • Baked Pears with Mascarpone, Breakfast Sweet Buns, Lemon Ricotta Cookies
  • Bagels, Focaccia, Biscotti
  • Cheesecake, Pot de Créme, Fruit Tarts with Pastry Cream and Pate Sucree
  • Pavlova with Lemon Curd, Soft Caramels, and Marshmallows

*Class is for Junior Chefs ages 9 and up.

*Please be on time, in comfortable attire and closed-toe shoes.
*Camp is $500 per ticket. Pricing is for a five-day camp *Gratuity is not included. The option to add a gratuity for your chef instructors and our team is available at your discretion. 



*Please note:  All purchases are nonrefundable.  Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation.  If you cancel with less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits or class transfers for classes missed.  If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
