Indian Grilling Cooking Class – July 29th

Join us for an evening packed with naan-stop fun and flavor.

We’re breaking out the grills for an Indian cooking class you won’t want to miss!

Indian cuisine dates back over 5000 years. Each region has its own traditions, religions and culture that influence its food. If you love Indian food but are hesitant to cook it at home because you are intimidated by unfamiliar names, spices, and ingredients – fear no more! You will be introduced to traditional Indian spices including cumin, cardamom, turmeric, coriander, along with other ingredients and techniques used to prepare traditional Indian dishes.

Enjoy your delicious meal from scratch and end the night with a chef-prepared dessert.

Indian Grilling Class Menu:

  • Charred naan
  • Tandoori style chicken
  • Basmati rice
  • Grilled vegetables with cumin lime vinaigrette
  • Chef-prepared Kheer (Indian Rice Pudding)

*Please be on time, wearing closed-toe shoes.

*Class is $100 per ticket. Gratuity is not included. The option to add a gratuity for your chef instructors and our team is available at your discretion. 

*Please note:  All purchases are nonrefundable. Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation. If you cancel with less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits or class transfers for classes missed. If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
