Date Night: Asian Street Food Cooking Class January 11th

 

Bring your soy-mate and join us for this hands-on, Asian street food date night cooking class. You’ll be transported across the Pacific and learn some essential recipes popular on the streets of Japan. Yattai, the word for small food stalls found along Japanese streets and at festivals, offer flavors you do not want to miss! You’ll never have a noo-dull moment learning traditional Japanese cooking techniques to create flavorful, authentic recipes with regional ingredients.

Asian Street Food Menu:

  • Chef-prepared Welcome Appetizer
  • Beef and Scallion Yakitori
  • Vegetable Yakisoba
  • Osaka-style Okonomiyaki

*Date Night Cooking Class Tickets are priced $210 per couple. One purchase = two seats.

*Please be on time and wearing closed-toe shoes.

*Please note:  All purchases are nonrefundable.  Our cancellation policy requires 72-hours notice in order to reschedule your reservation.  If you cancel less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits, or class transfers for classes missed.  If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
