Adelsheim Vineyards: Food & Wine Pairing Experience January 30th

Join us for an unforgettable evening as Salt Lake Culinary Education partners with Adelsheim Vineyard, one of Oregon’s most celebrated wineries, distributed locally by Vine Lore Wine & Spirits, to showcase the art of pairing exquisite wines with elevated cuisine.

Our chef has crafted a four-course menu designed to highlight the elegance and complexity of Adelsheim’s Willamette Valley wines. Each dish is thoughtfully paired to create harmony between flavor and terroir.

The Menu:

  • Compressed Watermelon Salad with basil and feta mousse
    Paired with Willamette Valley Chardonnay
  • Brown Butter Seared Scallop over Fall Risotto with tarragon dust
    Paired with Rosé of Pinot Noir
  • Porchetta of Kurobuta Pork Loin & Belly with silky parsnip purée, caramelized apple, and black truffle Pinot glaze
    Paired with Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
  • Strawberry Rhubarb Pavlova with spiced meringue
    Paired with Chehalem Mountains Breaking Ground Pinot Noir

You’ll enjoy a guided tasting led by Chef Chris Holbrook and Adelsheim’s wine expert, Mike Willison and gain insight into pairing techniques that balance richness, acidity, and texture.  It’s sure to be a convivial evening celebrating craftsmanship, community, and the joy of food and wine.

*Please note: All purchases are nonrefundable. Our cancellation policy requires 72 hours’ notice to reschedule your reservation. If you cancel with less than 72 hours before your scheduled class, Salt Lake Culinary Education will NOT provide refunds, credits or class transfers for classes missed. If this circumstance arises, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Your health and safety are extremely important to us.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen and classroom environment. We regularly clean and disinfect our facility throughout the day and class sizes are currently limited to practice proper distancing. All staff is required to wear a face mask. We are doing everything we can to keep our guests and SLICE team safe, and are asking for your help with these additional precautions:

  • Upon arrival, you will sign in and have your temperature taken at the front desk. Any guests with a temperature over 100 degrees will be asked to go home.
  • You will be required to wear a face mask and gloves during the prep and cooking segments of class. You will be allowed to remove your face mask once you are seated at a dining table.
  • Please wash your hands upon arrival and after touching your phone, your face, door handles, and other surfaces outside of the kitchen.
