Our goal is to help you become a self-confident cook, spark your creativity and most of all have FUN in an interactive environment.





We offer both traditional and contemporary hands-on cooking classes designed for every skill level from the novice to the foodie. Our classes are taught by qualified, experienced instructors (meet the chefs).

Our class sizes are small to offer the most individualized attention and hands-on opportunities. Students will generally work in small groups in class.

Students will experience hands-on instruction from preparation to cooking.  At the end of the class, everyone dines on the fruits of their labor.


The Basic Knife Skills class was very fun, very informative, even for someone who works in the food industry.


My favorite place for classes- better than Harmon’s, Sur la Table, etc! The facility, teacher, recipes are better than those other places.


I am soo impressed. Everything was so organized and so well prepared. Great venue - clean, new fantastic!


Wonderful instruction and interpretation of recipes. I felt comfortable asking even the dumbest questions. Low stress, positive instructor, learned a lot.

My kids, husband, and I have all attended different classes at the Salt Lake Culinary Center. They have been fun, delicious, and I have learned much more than I thought I would! I am always surprised with the new tricks I learn. The kids classes are very informative too, they learn real cooking techniques.


Thank you for the fun evening. Loved the ABC’s of baking. Fantastic desserts and instruction. Can’t wait for my next class.

My youngest wants to be a better chef than me. So to help her with this challenge, we signed her up for junior chef classes. She is now regularly cooking all sorts of food and treats for the family. The class helped her become more confident with her skills in the kitchen, and spark her imagination to try new things. Oh, and she has completely lost her inhibition with recipes! The donut class with Chef Amy was FANTASTIC – informative, fun, creative, and oh so tasty! Salt Lake Culinary Center offers a spacious and beautiful kitchen to learn in. I also like that they cooking classes for kids are not dumbed down. Kids learn knife skills and their menus are not relegated to sweets only.

My husband and I attended Date Night: Turn Up The Heat last weekend. It was our first time doing something like this and we had a blast! The other participants were really nice, the instructor was the BOMB, the food was AMAZING and the facility was beautiful. I highly recommend this experience!
